Antenna cable

The antenna cable connects the antenna to the terminal. The standard
length of the cable is 34.5ft (10.5m). If the distance between the
antenna and the terminal is less than this, do not cut the cable, as it
is designed to match the signal transmitting and receiving capability
of both the antenna and the terminal. Also, a shortened cable could
affect voice quality. If you require a cable of a different length, please
contact your service provider to check on availability.
Note: Only use a cable of the type and length recommended to
maintain the signal receiving capability of the terminal. See cable
specifications on page 72.

Terminal

The terminal processes the signal between the satellite and an
attached handset, and converts it into a voice call. You can also
connect a computer to the terminal, and make fax or data calls.
