MAINTENANCE
A See "Opening and Closing of the Fuel Tank Cap" and
"LCD Display for Normal Operation."
(1) Fuel tank cap
BChecking Engine Oil Level
To avoid personal injury:
A Stop the engine and remove the key before
checking the oil level.
Insert the engine oil dipstick fully into the respective port
opening, remove again and check the oil level; if
necessary fill with oil. The machine must be on level
ground when checking the oil level.

A Use engine oil with the correct viscosity. (according
the outside temperature.)
A After stopping the engine and removing the key, wait
five minutes and then check oil level. The excavator
must be on level ground.
(A) Oil level is acceptable
within this range.
BChecking Hydraulic Oil Level
To avoid personal injury:
A Stop the engine and remove the key before
checking the oil level.
A Before filling oil, wipe away all sand and dust from
around the oil port. Make sure to use an identical type
of hydraulic fluid.
A The excavator has been filled with hydraulic fluid
before delivery. See "RECOMMENDED OILS".
(Do not mix different oils.)
1. Park the excavator on a firm, flat and level surface.
Lower the attachments and dozer blade to the ground
and stop the engine.
2. Check the oil level as to whether it lies on the center of
the gauge at normal temperature (10 to 30
80
)).
3. Enough oil is present if the oil level lies near the center
of the gauge.
4. Should the oil level be too low, fill oil through the oil
port before starting the engine. This step is important
for the protection of the hydraulic system.
