PREVIEW command of the CR Monitor logic.

Configuring and using iQ User Keys

The 6 Fader + User Keys iQ expansion module pro-
vides two sets of 5 programmable "user keys." You'll
use the iQ Control Center's Console Configuration page
to configure ports for these keys to use.
When you've defined one of the expansion console
units as "Console Ext 6", you'll find a section marked
"User Buttons" that you'll use to configure the functions

of these keys.
• The ID column identifies the User Keys from top to
bottom, and in the left and right columns.
• The GPIO Channel box (and the adjacent selector
boxes) allow you to assign a Livewire GPIO Chan-
nel number to each User Key.
• The Role drop-down selector has two choices:
: Choose this option when you want

GPIO Snake
a button-press to result in a GPO response at the
GPIO port assigned to the GPIO Channel you've
specified.
Choose this option when you

GPIO module:
want a button-press to be interpreted as a GPI
command at the GPIO port you've assigned
to the GPIO Channel. Also, if the GPIO Chan-
nel has a GPO message issued on the network,
the corresponding button will light, indicating
"ready."
