REAR CAMERA OPERATION

This unit is "ca era read . " Before accessing an ca era features, ou ust install a
rear video ca era.
When the ca era is not installed and the function is accessed b the gear selector
being placed in reverse or b the unit's enu, the essage "No Signal!" will be
displa ed and the following screen will appear.
When the ca era is installed, the rear view i age of what is behind the vehicle will
appear when the vehicle is placed in reverse gear. When leaving reverse gear, the
unit displa s the previous screen.
STEERING WHEEL CONTROL (SWC)
To access the SWC Controls for programing, touch the SWC icon on the second
page of the Main Source Menu.
The VX Series built-in SWC interface supports "open circuit" resistive type OE SWC
circuits. This will allow the VX head units to interface to "basic open circuit type
vehicles" without the need for third-party SWC adapters such as PAC, Metra, etc.
Most resistive OE SWC circuits fall into two categories – Open circuit and a
combination of open and closed circuits. These circuits normally use 2 or 3 wires
for operation. When the OE SWC wires have been identified, you can take a quick
resistance measurement to establish if you have an "open SWC
circuit" or "open/closed SWC combination circuit".
