Section 9- Performance Data

9.1 – Purpose
This chapter provides performance data for the TI45014D Battery Charger/Conditioner. This information
will allow the user to obtain maximum performance and life from the unit. Regular referral to this chapter
is recommended to:
A) Gain knowledge of the unit's performance characteristics to anticipate unexpected conditions or
extreme operational requirements.
B) Readily identify situations requiring maximum performance.
Note: The information provided in this chapter is most useful when anticipating operations under unknown
conditions or environmental extremes. The data can also be used to es tablish local operating procedures
and to maximize the unit's life.
9.2 – Explanation of Data
The data presented covers the full range of operating conditions and expected perfor mance. In each area
of performance, temperature effects and dc electrical load demands in relation to ground power support
requirements are presented. In some cases, data is presented conservatively. In all cases, performance
data presented is within the applicable limits of the TI45014D Battery Charger/Conditioner. Any attempt to
exceed maximum recommended limits will cause the unit to malfunction and may cause permanent dam-
age.
9.3 – Definition of Abbreviations
Unless otherwise indicated, the abbreviations defined before page 1 will be applicable to all charts and
graphs in this chapter.
