CONTROL ACTUATOR
Total Possible Points: 2
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
1. Locate the Mode or Temperature actuator
and potentiometer.
2. Disconnect the connector.
3. Verify that the actuator operates by connecting B+
to terminal 2 and grounding terminal 1.
4. Verify the actuator operates in the opposite
direction when reversing B+ and ground
connection.
5. Connect the connector.
6. Back probe terminal 3 and 4 to check the voltage
between them. See chart below.
