Listening with the desired sound
In addition to the 4 kinds of equalizer patterns which have
been preset at the factory, 3 equalizer patterns created
manually by the user can be stored in memory and recalled
any time.
A SOURCE DIRECT mode is provided for pure audio repro-
duction by defeating the EX.BASS and SRS 3D circuits.
Selecting an equalizer pattern
It is possible to select the desired equalizer pattern according to the category of the played music. The graphic equalizer
effect can be recorded together with the sound.
1 Play desired music.
2 Switch on the equalizer mode.
3 Select the desired equalizer pattern.
4 Press the ENTER key.
Switching the spectrum analyzer display mode
1 Press the DISPLAY key.
2 Select the DISPLAY mode.
3 Press the ENTER key.

SOURCE DIRECT ....... For pure audio reproduction by de-
feating the EX.BASS and SRS 3D cir-
cuits.
÷ On the remote control unit, each press of the EQ. ON/OFF key
switches the on/off of equalizer patterns.
÷ To cancel the equalizer effect, select "EQ.OFF" or press the EQ. ON/
OFF key of the remote control unit.
Example of reference mode display

÷ When DISPLAY AUTO is selected, the display mode is switched in
sequence from 1 to 3 every time a track changes during CD playback.
