    R.D.S. (Radio Data System) XD-8 5 5 0 / XD-6 0 0 0 (En/ T) RDS is a system w hich transmits useful information (dig- ital data) for FM broadcasts together w ith the broadcast signal. Tuners and receivers designed for RDS reception can extract the information from the broadcast signal for use w ith various functions such as automatic display of the station name.
