Convenient CD recording

Selection of a recording type

With this unit, the following edit recording is
possible to suit different situations.
If you want to select the track to be recorded while playing a CD
Recording only the desired track
CD ONE TRACK RECORDING
If you want to record a CD with the track order as it is
Recording an entire CD
CD DIRECT RECORDING
If you want to record only the tracks you want
Recording programmed tracks
CD PROGRAM RECORDING
If you want to record the sound of multichannel digital sound tracks on tape (stereo downmix)
Recording a digital source
DIGITAL SOURCE RECORDING
At the end of a tape, the music is not recorded on the leader tape portion. If you do not want the recording

Regarding CD-TEXT
When a CD-TEXT disc is played on this unit, it dis-
plays the text information (disc or track title) re-
corded on the CD.
To switch the displayed text information between
the disc title and track title during playback, press
the TEXT DISP. key.

÷ Note that this cassette deck cannot record onto
Metal tapes.

÷ When an edit recording type is selected, random
and repeat playback is automatically canceled.
Perform this operation during CD playback when the
track you want to record starts . This starts recording of
the track from the beginning. This operation can only be
performed when the CD player is in the play mode
Perform "CD DIRECT RECORDING" operation while the
CD player is in the stop mode to start recording.
Program the desired tracks from up to 3 CDs in the order
you want and record the programmed playback onto
tape. This operation can only be performed when the CD
player is in the stop mode
Perform "DIGITAL REC MODE" operation while the CD
player is in the stop mode to start recording.
Scrolls the track title display.
