4.1.3
Multi-Band Equalizer
This module equalizes the audio in 10 bands according to the 10 slider setting.
For all the slider at the middle of the range equalizer is effectively null. Each slider
can go 5dB up and 5dB down. The reset button is used to set equalizer to transparent
functionality. The 3 radio buttons are used for coupling the sliders, namely Tight
Coupling, Loose Coupling and No Coupling. In Tight coupling each slider controls
other sliders and has high impact on the level of controls of neighboring sliders. In
Loose Coupling each slider affects the neighborhood sliders moderately. In case of
No-Coupling mode each of the slider can be tuned individually.
4.1.5 Bass Enhancement
Q24 is equipped with dynamic and powerful Bass enhancement feature. The
algorithm in bass enhancement is such that, it will apply a boost given by Gain slider
on the frequency (between 30 Hz to 330 Hz) given by Freq slider. There is third
slider PLevel, which will define intensity of applied Boost.
