Printing Gap

For postcards and thin documents you can work with the smallest space between
the print head and the material (the printing gap).
If the print head smudges the print, or if the material is particularly thick (such as a
booklet), the gap between the print head and the material should be increased.

Turn the knob (8) to the most open setting (see arrow).

Place one thickness of the material (3) under the exit rollers (b).

Turn the knob (8) to the right or left until both exit rollers contact the
material. Then turn the knob (8) two to three clicks further in the
same direction to insure proper transport pressure.
