The left margin is the distance between the edge of the printer's
print area and the first printed character. (See the decal on top of
the print head housing.)
The default setting for the left margin is 0 mm.
Use programming mode to set the left margin 0-150 mm (0-5.9 in.). See
Sect. 5 in the "Left Margin" menu).
The top margin is the distance between the leading edge of the
material and the first printed line.
The default value for the top margin is 0 mm.
Use programming mode to set the top margin from 0-400 mm. (0-15.6
in.). See Sect. 5 in the "Top Margin" menu).
With the printer in off-line mode, the top margin can be adjusted, line by
line, by pressing the left or right arrow keys:
"ï" key = increases the top margin, one line at a time.
"ð" key = decreases the top margin, one line at a time.
Loosen the knurled screws (a), and adjust the side guides (1 and 2)
to the width of the material (3).
The material must pass over the paper sensor.
The edge of the material should project laterally at least 5mm (.18 in.)
over the paper sensor.
