Chapter 1: Operation
The screens show the maximum/minimum depth since the last reset, but time out
to the current depth screen if no user action occurs for 8 seconds.

Alarms

An alarm condition occurs if:
• The depth is less than the SHALLOW or SHALLOW anchor level.
• The depth is more than the DEEP anchor level.
• The DEEP level value is crossed (when the seabed rising or falling).
Deep anchor

To adjust an alarm level:

Depth alarms
An alarm condition is indicated by an audible beep and a flashing alarm
symbol ( ) on the display. The display will also show the relevant caption, either
SHALLOW or DEEP , and for anchor alarms an anchor symbol ( ).
Note:
You can access alarm screens only at master instruments.
On repeaters, the alarm button has no effect.
Shallow alarm
You can change the shallow alarm

only if the shallow alarm lock is set
OFF during User calibration

To enable/disable any alarm, select the
relevant screen then hold down
