Troubleshooting
Possible cause
The printer is not ready to print.
Faulty connection between the GA-1121
and the printer.
One of the following:
• A PostScript or application error
• System software is corrupted
Missing, incorrect, or faulty DIMM(s) or
faulty DIMM connections.
Suggested action
Make sure the printer is powered on and indicates it is
ready to print.
1. Check again that the GA-1121 assembly is well-seated and
connected properly to the copier.
2. If the problem persists, power off the printer, wait 10
seconds, and power on the printer again.
3. If the problem persists, test the printer and service if
necessary (see printer service documentation).
1. Cancel the GA-1121 print job.
2. If this fails to clear the problem, reboot the GA-1121.
3. If the problem persists, select Clear Server from the menu
on the Control Panel (see page 2-7).
