Troubleshooting
Possible cause
System software is faulty or corrupted.
Specified component (e.g., ENET) is
faulty or corrupted.
One of the following:
• Lost communication between
GA-1121 and PC
• File transfer has been interrupted
GA-1121 has timed out before receiving
file from System Software CD.
File from System Software CD has been
transferred in the wrong format.
One of the following:
• Problem with the connection
between the GA-1121 and PC
• HDD error
One of the following:
• The printer is not ready to print.
• Problem with the connection
between the GA-1121 and the
printer.
Suggested action
1. Power off the printer, wait 10 seconds, and power on the
printer again.
2. If the problem persists, reinstall system software (see
page 3-22).

service/support center.

Check cable connections between the GA-1121 and the PC,
power off the printer, and repeat system software
installation.
Make sure "Start printing after first page is spooled" is
selected in printer Properties on the PC.
Make sure "/b" appears in the MS-DOS command line for
copying the file in binary format (see page 3-27).
