Narrow (2-1-3)
With a narrow corridor, Automower
the guide wire.
The Narrow corridor setting is not normally
recommended, but in a garden with one or many
narrow passages, a narrow corridor may be the only
option. The Narrow corridor setting increases the risk
for tracks forming along the guide wire.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The distance the mower maintains from the
guide wire varies depending on the layout of
the working area. Use the Test IN (2-3-1)
function to ensure that the wide corridor
setting can be used in the garden in question.
Remote start (2-2)
One important function with the guide wire is the
capacity to steer the mower to remote garden areas
when required. This function is very useful in gardens
where, for instance, the front and back are joined by a
narrow passage.
With this function activated, (any option other than
Never is selected) the mower will at times follow the
guide wire from the charging station to the remote
area and begin cutting there.
Proportion (2-2-1)
How often the mower must follow the guide wire
from the charging station is selected as a
proportion of the total number of times it leaves
the charging station. At all other times, the
mower leaves the charging station in the
standard manner and starts to cut.
The following five options can be selected;
- Never (0 %)
- Rarely (approx. 20 %)
- Average (approx. 50 %)
- Often (approx. 80 %)
- Always (100 %)
Select the percentage that corresponds to size of
the remote area relative to the total working area.
If the remote area is for instance less than half of
the total working area, then Rarely must be
selected. If the remote area is for instance half of
the total working area, Average must be selected.
Compare with the examples in 7. Garden example
on page 50.
The default setting is Rarely.
