CONVERSION KIT INSTRUCTIONS
COMPLETE THE CONVERSION:
1.
Adjust burner tube venturi to correct setting by loosening screws adjusting cap and
retightening screw.
CORRECT SETTINGS: NAT: 3/16" (5mm) open / L.P: 5/8" (16mm) open
2.
Re-install burner into fireplace, making sure orifice is properly seated inside burner
venturi and pilot hood is above burner assembly.
3.
Re-install pilot shield.
4.
Re-install log plates and logs.
5.
Turn on gas and electrical supplies. Check for leaks at all connections with soapy
water, whether field or factory made.
6.
Test inlet pressure. Visually check pilot flame. Flame should envelope top of flame
sensor and extend onto burner far enough for proper ignition. To Adjust pilot: Turn
pilot adjustment screw clockwise to decrease or counter-clockwise to increase pilot
flame.
7.
Turn fireplace off.
8.
Affix gas type sticker to label.
9.
Re-install glass frame.
10. Verify proper ignition and operation of fireplace.
Complete and affix 'Gas Conversion' label as close to gas valve as possible.
