A. Auger Control Handle
The Auger Control is used to engage and
disengage the augers. Squeeze the Auger
Control to engage the augers; release to
disengage the augers.
B. Chute Rotation Handle
To adjust snow discharge direction, manually
rotate the handle and chute clockwise or counter-
clockwise.
C. Chute Assembly
The chute provides a discharge path for snow
being thrown. The chute is adjustable. The angle
of the chute deflector controls the discharge
distance of the snow. Raising the angle will
increase the distance. Lowering the angle will
decrease the distance.
WARNING! Never use your hands to clear a
clogged chute assembly. Shut off engine and
remain behind handles until all moving parts
have stopped before unclogging.
D. Shave Plate
The Shave Plate maintains contact with
pavement as the snow thrower is propelled,
allowing snow close to pavement's surface to be
discharged.

ASSEMBLY

Your Snow Thrower will require some assembly.
Please complete the following steps before using
your Snow Thrower. For easy assembly, we
recommend attaching the components in the
order listed in this manual.
Note: Reference to right or left side of the
snow thrower is determined from behind the
unit in the operating position. The 'operator's
position' is defined as standing directly
behind the snow thrower.
Handle Assembly
1. Pivot the upper handle into the operating
position until it clicks. Ensure the cable is not
pinched in the process or wrapped around the
lower left engine casing or oil drain plug.
2. Tighten the knobs to secure the handle in
place.
