Performing IR Learning via software

The DVCM 50 can "learn" commands from your VCR or DVD player's remote
control in order to control the VCR or DVD player. Using IR Learning, you can
program command codes to each of the DVCM button's four memory blocks.
N Buttons must be confi gures with IR commands before they are placed in macro
Follow these steps to initiate IR Learning via the confi guration program:

In the Switch Mode fi eld, select the Macro radio button.

Set confi guration DIP switch #1 on the DVCM rear panel to

Launch the DVCM 50 confi guration software.
On the DVCM 50 DVD or VCR diagram on the Controller
(MLC) Confi g. tab, select the button for which you want the
DVCM to learn IR codes.
Select the Cmd radio button for the memory block where you want the
command to be stored.
