Confi guring the control module
The DVCM 50 screen, shown below, is where you confi gure the control module and
initiate IR Learning through software. This screen lets you perform IR Learning of
commands to DVCM button memory blocks, pick and assign IR driver functions
to memory blocks, remove programming from buttons, and confi gure buttons in
toggle and macro modes.
Overview of the Controller (MLC) Confi g. tab
The DVCM 50 screen contains one tab: Controller (MLC) Confi g. This tab contains
graphical representations of the DVCM 50 in DVD mode and in VCR mode. When
you click on the button representations in these diagrams, menus are displayed,
enabling you to confi gure the DVCM buttons.
The Programming Legend below the DVCM 50 diagram shows that a red dot on
a button means that an IR code has been learned for one or more of that button's
memory blocks. (Because RS-232 commands cannot be programmed on the
DVCM 50, green dots do not appear on these diagrams.)
If the button does not contain a red dot, no commands have been stored on that
button.
