Description
Set the original scan options.
Adjust the image quality and density according to the original.
Sets application options for clearing an original image outside of the spec-
ified frame and for enhancing the edges of an image.

Set the options to scan originals correctly based on their properties.
•
[Mixed Original]: Even for an original with pages of different sizes, by
using ADF, you can scan data while detecting the size for each page.
If the originals have the same width, select [Same Width]. If the originals
have different widths, select [Different Width].
•
[Thin Paper Original]: Reduce the original feed speed of the ADF to pre-
vent the original from getting caught.
•
[Z-Folded Original]: Even folded originals, the size of the original can be
detected accurately.
•
[Long Original]: Select this option when loading a long original that is
larger in the feeding direction than the full standard size (11 e 17 or A3).
