Starting up the inverter

DANGER
Lethal voltages are still present in the terminals and leads of the inverter even after the inverter
has been switched off and disconnected.
Severe injuries or death if the leads and terminals in the inverter are touched.
Only authorised electricians who are approved by the supply grid operator may start up the inverter.
7.6.1

Switching on the inverter

↻ The inverter has been mounted and electrically installed.
↻ The PV array is supplying a voltage > 250 V.

Connect the grid voltage using the external circuit breakers and the AC disconnect switch if the optional PSD is
provided..
2. Connect the PV array using the external DC disconnect or the optional DC disconnect with the PSD (0 → 1).

The inverter begins to operate.

During the initial start-up: Follow the instructions on the inverter display.
The XP10U inverter performs a series of utility grid, PV array, and internal diagnostics prior to converting DC energy and
exporting to the utility.
