Installing the Inverter

DANGER
Lethal voltages are still present in the terminals and leads of the inverter even after the inverter has
been switched off and disconnected.
Severe injuries or death may result if the leads and terminals in the inverter are touched.
Only authorised electricians who are approved by the supply grid operator may open and install the
inverter.
The inverter must be mounted in a fi xed position before being connected electrically.
Observe all safety regulations and the currently applicable technical connection specifi cations of the
responsible power supply company.
Disconnect the AC and DC circuits.
Lock Out and Tag Out the AC and DC circuits in compliance with local regulations.
Assure that the AC and DC circuits are completely de-energized.
Connect the inverter only after the aforementioned steps have been taken.
NOTICE
Install the inverter in accordance with NFPA 70 and additional local requirements.
7.1

Opening the connection area

Opening the connection area - XP10U H4 / H6 and XP10U H4 / H6 PSD
↻ You have mounted the inverter on the wall.
1.
Without PSD - unscrew the four T30 Torx screws from the front side of the connection cover.
With PSD - insert blade into PSD cover lock and twist counter clockwise to release. Turn the AC disconnect to the off
position to release the cover interlock.
2. Remove the connection cover.
3.
Terminate both AC and DC circuits in accordance with the NFPA 70 and other local requirements.
