2. Open the front door, and then pull out the stacker
unit.
3. Remove 2 screws from the rail stopper, and then
pull out the stacker unit further. (See "4.1 Adjust-
ing the bypass gate.")
Note
• Be sure to place a support under the stacker
unit to prevent FS from falling down.
4. Loosen the adjusting screws [2], 1 each, of the
side stitch stoppers /Fr and /Rr [1] and the adjust-
ing screws [4], 1 each, of the support stoppers /Fr
and /Rr [3], and adjust the positions of the side
stitch stoppers /Fr and /Rr and the support stop-
pers /Fr and /Rr.
Note
• Adjustments should be made so that all of the
four stoppers are of the same height.
5. Loosen the adjusting screw [6] of the fixed stop-
per [5] and adjust the position of the fixed stopper
so that it is within 0 to -0.5 mm as compared to
the height of other stoppers.
6. Perform the stapling operation and check to see if
the staple position is within the standard value.
