2.5.7 SIP DEVICES
Standard SIP devices (phones ATA adapters, etc) made by other manufacturers (eg; Cisco, Linksys, Aastra) can
register to the OfficeServ SIP server as SIP clients and function as internal stations. SIP stations registered to the
OfficeServ systems can use the following SIP supplementary feature set:

Samsung does not make a Samsung SIP phone for the US market, but other third party devices are support-
ed on the OfficeServ systems.

Some SIP devices have buttons dedicated to special features such as conference buttons. These types of but-
tons rarely conform to the standard SIP protocol and exist to provide enhanced features in specific manufac-
turer's systems. These buttons may or may not work with Samsung systems, and as such are not supported.
Only basic call delivery and acceptance can be guaranteed.
