Detail of panel connections is provided in the following tables. Other features may be
enabled or disabled by the DIP switches accessible at the top of the panel. These are
detailed in section 5.5.4.
One of the key differences between the 500-3x-5x series and earlier versions is the use of
the RJ45 connector for matrix and expansion ports. It is also now possible to connect
together multiple standard panels in a chain, using the "Matrix" and "Expansion" connectors.
