OWNER'S MANUAL
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Open windows/Extinguish any open flame.
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch or use any phone in
your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbour's
phone. Follow the gas supplier's instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire
department.
Do not store or use gasoline or other Flammable vapours and liquids in the vicinity of
Massachusetts installations (Warning): This product must be installed by a licensed plumber
or gas fitter when installed within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Other Massachusetts
code requirements:-Flexible connector must not be longer than 36 inches, shut off valve
must be a "T" handle gas cock, only direct vent sealed combustion products are approved for
bedroom/bathrooms, fireplace dampers must be removed or welded in the open position prior
to the installation of a fireplace insert or gas log.

    LECTRICAL EQUIREMENTS The ENVIRO ASCOT will operate without electrical power. This model has a millivolt gas control, which uses the pilot flame to generate enough electricity to operate the main burners.
