Unlocking (Octavia)

Fold the rear seat backrest forward
›
Insert the vehicle key into the slot in the trim panel as far as the stop

Unlock the lid by moving it in the direction of the arrow.
›
Open the boot lid.
Unlocking (Octavia Estate)

Fold the rear seat backrest forward
›
Insert a screwdriver or similar tool into the opening of the trim as far as it

Unlock the lid by moving it in the direction of the arrow.

Firmly apply the handbrake.
›
Open the stowage compartment in front centre console
›
- Grab hold of the cover in the area of the arrows and carefully raise it for-

wards in the direction of the arrow
›
Use a finger to press the yellow plastic part in the direction of the arrow
›
At the same time, press the locking button in the selector lever and move the
selector lever to position N.
If the selector lever is moved again to position P, it is once again blocked.
