Connecting to Other Devices

Connect the instrument
to external MIDI devices.
Connect the instrument to a computer
to exchange MIDI data.
Before connecting the CE220 digital piano to other devices, ensure that the power to both the instrument
and the other device is turned off. If connections are established while the power is turned on, extraneous
noise that can damage the CE220 digital piano may activate the instrument's amplifier protection circuit,
preventing any sound from being produced. If this occurs, turn the power off and then on again to reset the
amplifier protection circuit.
Do not connect the LINE IN and LINE OUT jacks of the CE220 digital piano together with a cable. An audio
loop (oscillation sound) will occur, resulting in damage to the unit.
