Selecting Sounds

The CE220 digital piano features a wide selection of realistic instrument sounds suitable for various musical styles.
Sounds are arranged into eight categories, with several sounds assigned to each category button. For a complete
listing of sounds available on the CE220 digital piano, please refer to page 68 of this owner's manual.
By default, the 'Concert Grand' sound will be selected automatically when the instrument is turned on.
Selecting a sound category
Press the desired SOUND SELECTION button.
The LED indicator for the button will turn on to indicate that
this category has been selected. The variation number of the
selected sound will briefly be shown in the LED display.
Changing the selected sound variation
Several sound variations are assigned to each category button.
Press the selected category button repeatedly to cycle through
the different sound variations.
The
and
VALUE buttons can also be used to select sounds.
* To change the default sound, and specify a preferred sound to be
selected automatically when the instrument is turned on, please use
the User Memory function explained on page 58.
