Function Buttons Overview
The Function buttons are used to select additional options and settings that control the CE220 digital piano.
These buttons are also used to select MIDI functions, and to store/reset the instrument's user memory.
Selecting a function
Press and hold the TRANSPOSE and USB buttons simultaneously,
then press the desired function button.
The LED indicators for the three buttons will start to flash, and the
name of the selected function will be shown in the LED display.
Exiting a function
Press the TRANSPOSE, USB, or any one of the SOUND SELECTION buttons.
The LED indicators for the pressed buttons will turn off, and the instrument will return to normal operation.

Description
Change the touch sensitivity of the keyboard.
Adjust the tonal brightness of the instrument's sound.
Adjust the pitch of the instrument in 0.5 Hz steps.
Adjust the resonance that is heard when depressing the damper pedal.
Adjust the resonance that is heard when notes are held.
Adjust the tuning system to suit Renaissance and Baroque periods etc.
Raise the pitch of the lower section in octave steps when using Split mode.
Raise the pitch of the layered sound in octave steps when using Dual mode.
Adjust the dynamic sensitivity of the layered sound when using Dual mode.
Change the effect of the sustain pedal on organ, string, etc. sounds.
Store/reset current panel settings as the default (power on) configuration.
Description
Specify the channel that is used to transmit/receive MIDI information.
Send a MIDI program change number within the range of 1-128.
Specify whether internal sounds will be heard when the keyboard is pressed.
Specify whether program information is sent when sounds are changed.
Specify whether MIDI information can be received on more than one channel. Off
Specify which channels (1-16) are activated to receive MIDI information.

Example: To select the String Resonance function,
press and hold the TRANSPOSE and USB buttons, then
press the E.PIANO button.
