Channel Mute On/Off

The Channel Mute setting determines which MIDI channels (1-16) are activated to receive MIDI information when
Multi-timbral mode is set to On. Each channel can be set to mute or play individually.
* This setting is available only when Multi-timbral mode is set to On.

Explanation
On
Instrument will not respond to MIDI events received on specified channel (mute).
Off
Instrument will respond to MIDI events received on specified channel (play).
(default)
1. Selecting the Channel Mute setting
Press and hold the TRANSPOSE and USB buttons simultaneously,
then press the PLAY/STOP button.
The LED indicator for the PLAY/STOP button will start to flash,
and the current Channel Mute setting for channel 1 will be
shown in the LED display.
2. Selecting the MIDI channel to mute/play
Press one of the 16 lower-most white keys to select the desired
MIDI channel to mute/play.
The selected channel and mute/play setting will be shown in
the LED display.
3. Changing the Channel Mute setting
Press the
or
VALUE buttons to change the Channel Mute
setting.
* The Channel Mute setting will return to the default setting of On after
the power is turned off.
* To change this default setting, and specify the preferred Channel Mute
setting to be selected automatically when the instrument is turned
on, please use the User Memory function explained on page 58.
