USB Operations

The CE220 digital piano allows recorder songs to be loaded from and saved to a USB memory device.
It is also possible to play Standard MIDI File (SMF) songs, delete files, and format the USB memory device.
* The USB device should be formatted to use the 'FAT' or 'FAT32' filesystem.

USB Play

The USB Play function is used to play songs directly from a USB memory device, instead of loading the song data
into one of the instrument's internal recorder memories. This function also supports Standard MIDI File (SMF)
format songs.
1. Selecting the USB Play function
After connecting a USB memory device:
Press the USB button.
The LED indicator for the USB button will turn on, and the name
of the current USB function will be shown in the LED display.
Press the
or
VALUE buttons to select the USB Play function,
then press the YES (REVERB) button.
A number representing a song stored on the USB memory
device will be shown in the LED display.
* CE220 format songs will be shown in the LCD display as U01, U02, etc.
* SMF format songs will be shown in the LCD display as 001, 002, etc.

2. Selecting and playing a song

Press the
or
VALUE buttons to select the desired song
number, then press the PLAY/STOP button.
The LED indicator for the PLAY/STOP button will turn on, and
the selected song will start to play.
Chain Play mode
The Chain Play playback mode allows all songs stored on a USB
memory device to be played automatically, in numerical order.
To activate Chain Play mode, press and hold the PLAY/STOP
button when selecting a song, or during song playback.
The LED indicator for the PLAY/STOP button will start to flash, to
indicate that Chain Play mode is activated.
