Damper Hold On/Off

The Damper Hold setting determines whether sounds such as organ or strings should be sustained indefinitely
when the sustain (damper) pedal is depressed, or whether these sounds should gradually decay.

On
Sounds such as organ, strings, etc. will be sustained indefinitely when the sustain pedal is pressed.
Off
Sounds such as organ, strings, etc. will be sustained with a gradual decay when the sustain pedal is pressed.

1. Selecting the Damper Hold setting
Press and hold the TRANSPOSE and USB buttons simultaneously,
then press the BASS/GUITAR button.
The LED indicator for the BASS/GUITAR button will start to flash,
and the current Damper Hold setting will be shown in the LED
display.
2. Changing the Damper Hold setting
Press the

VALUE buttons to change the Damper Hold
setting.
* The Damper Hold setting will return to the default value of Off after
the power is turned off.
* To change this default setting, and specify the preferred Damper Hold
setting to be selected automatically when the instrument is turned
on, please use the User Memory function explained on page 58.
