Roof over outdoor unit

Anslut heat pumps are designed to withstand the severe Nordic climate. However, by further protecting
the outdoor unit from the weather and wind you can simplify maintenance work. Building a roof over the
outdoor unit will, for example, prevent the accumulation of snow and leaves behind the unit. A layer of
snow prevents the flow of air and therefore reduces the effect. The heat pump requires an ample supply
of air and it must also be possible to access the unit for service purposes. Never place a roof, or walls (for
especially severe climatic conditions), closer than 40 cm from the unit. Never cover under any
circumstances a protective frame placed in front or under the unit.
