Venting of the hoses and unit

1.
In normal cases, the unit's incoming water connection is placed higher than the pool's water
surface. The unit is then vented easily by filling the system with water via the outgoing water hose.
2.
If the pool's water surface is higher than the unit's incoming water connection the unit is vented as
in the instructions below.
-
Hold the hose for the incoming water below the incoming water connection. Fill hose
completely with water.
-
Connect the hose for the incoming water.
-
Fill the unit with water through the connection for the outgoing water and connect the
outgoing water hose.
Finally position the hoses in the pool and prepare to start the unit.

Avoid installation/operation of the pool heat pump

where the leakage of inflammable gases can occur or where flammable gas is stored
in the vicinity of bedroom windows
where the mains supply is unstable
where there are strong electromagnetic fields
where it is exposed to rain or mist.
Place the pool heat pump so that it does not disturb the surroundings and preferably fit a protective
cover over the unit.
Before starting the pool heat pump, make sure that the water hoses are connected according to the
outline diagram. The connection for incoming water must be 20 cm below the water surface and the water
hoses must be free of air. It is very important that the hose is filled with water and free of air. See the
previous page for practical tips about venting.
IMPORTANT!

Check list during installation of the pool heat pump

The unit must be connected to the mains supply via a residual current device with a tripping current
of ≤ 30 mA.
Note that rotating parts give off some noise. Remember this when positioning the pool heat pump.
It is extremely important that the pool heat pump has a good air supply and it is therefore
inappropriate to build in the pool heat pump and restrict the air flow.
Make sure that there is a free flow of air at least 4 metres in front of the heat pump.
Make sure there is sufficient room for the pool heat pump to facilitate installation and maintenance.
