To clean the pipework in the lid for
the stainless steel milk flask, fill the
larger of the two plastic containers
to the "max." mark with lukewarm
tap water to dissolve the cleaning
agent.
Fit the lid from the milk flask to the
container, making sure that it
engages correctly. Hang it in the
machine where the stainless steel
milk flask normally sits.
It is important to use the Miele
cleaning agent as it has been
developed for this coffee machine. It
is available via the internet at
www.miele-shop.com or from your
Miele Dealer or from the Miele Spare
Parts Department.
The milk pipework will now be cleaned.
The pipework is clean once Prog.
finished appears in the display. You
can then switch the machine off.
Cleaning and care

Stainless steel milk flask

The stainless steel milk flask and lid
must be washed by hand using hot
water.
It is important to keep the top of the
flask and the seals clean (whilst filling it
and carrying it). Any soiling can lead to
a malfunction of the flask in the
machine.
^ Clean the stainless steel flask with
hot water after use to remove any
residual milk.
^ Clean the handle under running tap
water and then clean it thoroughly
with a clean damp cloth to remove
any milk residues.
^ If the milk pipework in the lid is
clogged, use the cleaning brush to
clean it under running water.
Insert the brush in the pipework and
move it back and forth as far as it will
go until all the milk deposits are
removed.
