    Specify your drive's master or slave setting before installing it. You do this by changing the position of a jumper on the jumper block at the rear of the drive. Your drive ships from our factory with its jumper set to operate the veloCD ReWRITER as a master. Changing the Jumper on Your Internal veloCD ReWRITER As shown in Figure 5, the veloCD ReWRITER arrives from the factory with its jumper set to MASTER.

    If you don’t have an empty bay, remove the existing IDE CD-ROM drive and install the veloCD. You must make a minimum of two cable connections to your veloCD ReWRITER. The two cable connections that you must make are:...

    SECTION INSTALLING and USING SOFTWARE Before you can begin to use your veloCD ReWRITER you need to install the software from the included CD Blender CD-ROM. The software automatically loads all necessary device drivers as well as TDK’s CD Blender software suite.

    TRAY LOADING AND OPERATION To load and unload the tray: 1. While the veloCD ReWRITER is powered up, push the Eject button on the front panel. The tray drawer slides out in 2–3 seconds. 2. Lay a blank CD in the depression in the tray, label side up. The CD should lie flat in the tray.
