    1. Turn OFF your computer system and unplug the power cord. 2. Set the jumpers for your new veloCD ReWRITER. 3. Mount the veloCD ReWRITER into an available drive bay inside the computer system. 4. Make all necessary cabling connections: IDE cable, power cable and audio cable.

    IDE port. NOTE: With this configuration, it is very difficult to write from the CD-ROM to the veloCD ReWriter using "on-the-fly" copying. Use the image writing method for best results.

    The CABLE SELECT jumper position sets the veloCD ReWRITER to use the CSEL signal from the IDE interface for configuration.     Cable Select Jumper Settings If you wish to use the veloCD in cable select mode, be certain that the veloCD is located in the Master location on the cable select IDE cable. CAUTION: Install jumpers across each pin as shown (vertically).

    TRAY LOADING AND OPERATION To load and unload the tray: 1. While the veloCD ReWRITER is powered up, push the Eject button on the front panel. The tray drawer will slide out in 2–3 seconds. 2. Place a blank CD in the depression in the tray, label side up. The CD should lie flat in the tray.

    BEFORE YOU CONTACT US Please gather as much of the following information as possible before contacting us. The serial number and TLA number of your veloCD ReWRITER. Your serial number can be found both • on the retail box and on a label on the drive itself. The TLA number appears both on the drive label and on a sticker at the rear of internal drives.
