Folding Instructions for Optional Flight Control Tower
In order to fold the Flight Control Tower forward, grasp the knobs found under
the support structure on the port and starboard sides of the tower. Unscrew the
threaded bolts. Rock the tower forward. The tower will rest on the grab rails
of the bow section of the boat. In the folded position, it is also recommended
that the tower be securely strapped to the grab rails. In order to reposition the
tower in the upright position, simply reverse the steps.
Ballast Tanks
Two tank options are available in your Ski Nautique 206. The trick tank
option, which is a single tank of approximately 220 pounds and the large tank
(wakeboard) option, which is two tanks of approximately 400 pounds. The
small tank increases the wake for trick skiing while the large tanks will give
you an excellent wake for wakeboarding making your Ski Nautique 206 the
most versatile water sports tow package in the world. Note that large tanks
will eliminate storage in the trunk.
Launch Control System (Ballast Tank Valves)
Your Nautique may come equipped with a rigid ballast tank. Correct Craft
offers a unique fill and empty system. If you have the small trick tank, open
the flow rite valve located underneath the dash to your left knee and then
press the belly ballast button on the keypad on the right side of the dash, the
tank will fill. When the tank is full, press the button again and it will turn off.
Then close the valve. To empty, reverse this process by opening the valve
and press and momentarily the belly ballast button to engage the blinking
light. Monitor your ballast tank gauge located on the console to determine
when the tank is empty. Then turn off pump and close valve.
If you have the large tank option (wakeboard tank), follow the above
directions, but push the port and starboard ballast tank buttons instead of
belly tank buttons.
Winterization of Optional Launch Control System
In order to winterize the Launch Control System, take the following steps:
1. Make sure the launch control system seacocks (located in the bilge - ask
your local dealer) are open. Empty the system completely using the drain
pumps.
2. Remove the stern seat base, engine box, and removable floor section from
the boat. Each tank has a drain hose located adjacent to the muffler on the
appropriate stringer. Remove the cap from the drain hose and allow the tank
to drain until it stops. Reach under the fuel tank and remove the empty hoses
from the empty pumps. Remove the fill hoses from the fill pumps under the
front of the engine. Raise and lower the bow of the boat while the system is
draining to insure that water is removed from the pumps.
