Leave Group Permanently

Use this to leave the group permanently. To rejoin the
group again if you change your mind, you must ask an-
other group member to add you to the group again.

Leave Group For A While

Use this to leave the group temporarily. This menu item
then changes to Rejoin Group and your device stops
exchanging data with the takwak server. Other group
members will not get any updates from your device
while you are away from the group. Their screens
show No Data for you and your avatar on their screens
remains stationary at the last known position. You can
rejoin the group at any time as long as it is still active
by choosing Rejoin Group and without needing to ask
another group member for help.

Turn On Talk

Choose this if you want to use the PMR walkie talkie
within the currently active group to talk to other group
members. You are then prompted to choose a suitable
takwak Software Suite

radio channel. Choosing the channel is described in

As soon as one person in the group turns on the walkie
talkie function, notifications are sent to all other group
members and their walkie talkie function will be
switched on automatically, as well.
Just press and hold the PTT (Push-To-Talk) button
when you want to speak and everyone else within
range will hear what you are saying.
In group mode, twOutdoor automatically ensures that
everyone is using the same walkie talkie channel by
sending control and notification messages through the
takwak server. In navigate-alone mode, everyone must
configure the right channel themselves (see
Talkie app"
After choosing Turn On Talk, this menu item changes
to Turn Off Talk.
