Choose Übertragen » Assistent Starten (Trans-
fer » Start Wizard) and then click on the large
button "MagicMaps Scout for Android".
The PC now waits for a data signal from twOutdoor
and shows "Looking for Smartphone".
On the
tw700:
Start twOutdoor and choose Settings » Connect With
Tour Explorer. twOutdoor displays a 4 digit PIN code.
The PIN code is needed to authorize the Wi-Fi connec-
tion.
Tour Explorer then prompts you for the 4 digit PIN
code.
Enter the PIN in Tour Explorer on the PC and choose
the required option:
Displayed map section and selected tours
Displayed map section only
Get stored tours from mobile device
Click "Fortfahren" (Continue) in Tour Explorer and as-
sign a file name to the map you want to export. The
name you choose will be visible later in twOutdoor.
You can only click "Continue" if you have entered the
correct PIN. Then click Export.
A progress indicator is shown on the tw700 and on the
PC during the transfer. Tour Explorer first converts the
map section to twOutdoor format and then starts the
takwak tw700 version 1.30
transfer. You may have to wait a couple of seconds be-
fore the transfer begins.
Using Tour Explorer maps in
To use the Tour Explorer maps you have imported,
choose Settings » Tour Explorer Maps.

Walkie Talkie app

The Walkie Talkie app manages the special functions
for the walkie talkie hardware of the tw700. Walkie
talkie functions are also available in the group mode of
the twOutdoor app.
You can communicate with other people who have a
tw700 and also with people who using a PMR-compat-
ible walkie talkie from another manufacturer. The
walkie talkie group features
ble if all participants are using a tw700.
Walkie talkie communication is one way at a time -
while you are speaking, you cannot listen to other peo-
ple.
