Remove
Tour: This option is only shown in Map view
and only if a tour has been loaded on the map. Choose
this option to remove the tour. The tour disappears
from the map but the track file is not deleted.
Settings
The app settings are arranged in six groups: Map (set-
tings for handling and downloading your maps), Dis-
play (settings for displaying maps), Track Recording,
Navigation (set warnings), Grouping (form a group),
Help and Exit.
Map Settings
We recommend you to download all of the map mate-
rial you think you will need in advance of your tour us-
ing a Wi-Fi connection. Map download is not possible
with a mobile data connection. See also "map stream-
ing", below.
When you start twOutdoor for the first time, it may
prompt you to download the free OSM world basem-
ap.
A notification icon is shown in the status bar while the
map is downloading. To get more information on the

My Maps OSM
is for downloading and managing
map regions from the OpenStreetMap (OSM) project.
You are shown an overview of regions which are al-
ready installed on your tw700 and you can install fur-
ther regions from the map server by pressing Manage
Maps and navigating to the region you want.
