Sets Dual-density bit image mode. The maximum number of
bit-image data per line is 960 (FX-80), 1,632 (FX-lOO).
This code sets the Dual-density bit image mode. The dot pattern
indicated by the bit-image data (nl and nz) following ESC L will be
printed in dual density.
Refer to the description of ESC K code for detailed information as to
how to obtain values for nl and nz.
The transfer sequence of bit image data is the same as with ESC K
(normal-density bit image printing), except that bit image printing
can be performed in twice the dot density in the horizontal direction
as compared ESC K. In other words, bit image data can be printed in
960 (FX-80) or 1,632 (FX-100) dot positions per line, thus permitting
the user to produce denser graphic output.
If data exceeding this amount is specified, the excess will be ignored.
After the completion of the bit image printing, the printer will
automatically return to Text mode.
Mixing of normal-density bit image with dual-density bit image on a
line is at your option, as well as mixing with the characters in Text
mode.
When the characters in the Text mode and dual-density bit image are
mixed on a line, the amount by which the bit-image data decreases
per character of Text data is twice that of normal-density bit image
(ESC K). The print speed decreases from the normal 16 IPS to 8 IPS
(inch per second).
