Before you start: Check that the voltage of the extra power supply is the same with the NVR’s requirement, and the ground connection is working properly.

So before you can get a live view or record of the video, you should add the network cameras to the connection list of the device.

In the live view mode, once a motion detection event takes place, the NVR can analyze it and do many actions to handle it. Enabling motion detection function can trigger certain channels to start recording, or trigger full screen monitoring, audio warning, notify the surveillance center and so on.
