modify the SNMP agent and recipients.

Library Manager
The Library Manager is an optional software program that provides intelligent library
control for StorageTek SCSI tape libraries, including the L Series libraries. The Library
Manager's management and control features include the ability to bring SCSI libraries
online and offline, and the ability to do tape operations, such as enter, eject, mount,
dismount, or query tape cartridges.

Framework Library Monitor
The optional Framework Library Monitor is the first software that allows you to monitor
and respond to StorageTek SCSI-based tape library events from within a system
management framework (SMF).

L20 Guided Installation Program
The L20 Guided Installation Program ships on a CD with the L20 tape library and helps
you to install and configure the L20 tape library and the drives.
The Guided Installation Program:
•
Supports both the SCSI and Fibre Channel interfaces.
•
Helps you install and validate the library, drives, and cables.
•
Verifies host and library connectivity.
•
Provides typical and custom configuration of the library.
•
Directs you to identify, orient, and place the cartridges in their appropriate storage
locations.
•
Provides user-friendly assistance when performing a task.
The L20 Guided Installation Program is a stand-alone application. The program is
available in English only and runs on Microsoft Windows and Solaris operating systems.
