Problems and solution
If you come across a problem, please use the checklist of troubleshooting tips before ringing
Hoover Customer Care.
Stick vac does
• Does the battery need charging?
not work
• Has the hand vac been assembled correctly back into the body
of the stick vac?
Suction power
• Check the dust cup, is it full and does it need to be emptied?
has decreased
• Is the HEPA filter blocked? Does it need to be replaced or cleaned?
• Is there a blockage in the air inlet tunnel or on the roller of the
turbo brush that needs to be removed?
The stick vac will
• Is the charger connected correctly to the power socket?
not charge
• Is the power plug on the charger connected to the base of the charger?
• Has the hand vac been correctly assembled to the body of the stick vac?
The cleaner has
• Has the stick vac been fully charged – 6-8hours?
been charged
• Does the battery require replacement?
but unable to get
enough run time
from the cleaner
