Upgrading to a quad-socket server blade
Inserting the HT-link elements and the side-band element
The two modules of the quad-socket server blade exchange data through two
HT-link elements and the side-band element. These double-sided printed circuit
boards are plugged into special sockets on the system boards and connect the
bus systems of the two modules.

The figure above shows a diagram of the connection between the system board
of the master module (1) and the system board of the slave module (2) by way
of an HT-link element (3).
