    Automatic safety cut-off o The automatic safety cut-off is activated when a cooking zone has been left on longer than the maximum default working time. This is a safety function in the event of the hob being left on accidentally. o The default working times for the various power levels are shown in the table below.

    o Use pans with a diameter as large as the zone selected. By using a slightly wider pot, energy will be used at its maximum efficiency. If you use a smaller pot, the efficiency of the hob could be less than expected. o Pots that are less than 140 mm in diameter could be undetected by the hob.

    DO NOT USE THE HOB IF THE SURFACE BECOMES BROKEN OR CRACKED. YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE BAUMATIC SERVICE DEPARTMENT IMMEDIATELY.     Installing the appliance o Cut a hole in the worktop that corresponds with the drawing shown above. o IMPORTANT: You must observe ventilation requirements shown in the drawing opposite.
