Diagnostic Mode Operation - Honda CBR1100XX EFI Installation Manual

Tighten the nut gently until the fuel tank can be lowered.
Place a new sealing washer on the service bolt and install the service bolt in the banjo in the bottom of the
fuel tank. Tighten the bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb.ft)
Remove the fuel catch container.
Remove the wood block and replace it with the axle wrench and handle.
Position the fuel hose correctly (with the locating tab against the fuel rail) and tighten the banjo sealing nut
to 22N.m (16 lb.ft).
Connect the fuel pump wires.
Connect the air vent tube to the bottom of the fuel tank.
Route the larger drain hose down the back of the engine and between the engine and the front of the swing
arm.
Remove the support from the rear of the tank and lower the tank, being careful not to damage the inner
fairing panel.
Push the boss on the inner fairing panel into the rubber grommet on the tank.
Install the fuel tank mount bolts. You may need to push the actuator bracket around a bit to get the holes to
line up.
Re-connect the fuel gauge sender wire.
Re-assemble the fairing panel, using the reverse of the disassembly procedure. This can be done after
testing if desired. Make sure that there are no clips or fasteners loose on the bike that might get lost during
testing.
Reconnect the battery negative cable with the cruise control ground (black) wire to the battery negative
terminal.
Your cruise control is now ready for testing!
